There are three types of memberships available to the Arts Council of Muskoka:

  1. Individual artist membership

  2. Businesses, associations and groups related to the arts

  3. Corporate/Individual art sponsorships (non-arts related)

The information provided below is only an brief overview of each type of membership. For full details, please read the information provided with each application.

1. INDIVIDUAL ARTIST MEMBERSHIP:
New artist application deadline: September 1, 2010

The Arts Council of Muskoka reviews applications for new artist membership once a year. Individual Artists are required to submit their application (see application for specifications) along with the $15 application fee (non-refundable). Artists will be notified of their membership status by October 1. Annual membership fee is due by January 1 for all new and current memberships.

2. BUSINESSES, ASSOCIATIONS AND GROUPS RELATED TO THE ARTS:

Businesses, associations and groups with direct links to the arts community are welcome to apply for memberships. Membership criteria are outlined in the application (see link below) and new applications are assessed by the Arts Council of Muskoka once a month. There is no fee to apply however, the annual membership fee is due on acceptance of the membership and then due on January 1 each year following.

3. CORPORATE & INDIVIDUAL SPONSORSHIPS:

The Arts Council of Muskoka welcomes the opportunity for corporate and individual sponsorships in several forms. Corporate & Individual Sponsors do NOT need to be related to the arts. The three simplest are the Bronze, Silver and Gold sponsorship levels (see below).

The Arts Council of Muskoka also welcomes the opportunity to discuss special sponsorship arrangments such as establishing arts bursaries or special events for the purpose of promoting the arts in Muskoka. Please contact the Arts Council of Muskoka to discuss your sponsorship details.
